Ohio Grand Jury Will Not Indict White Cop Who Fatally Shot Black Teenager Ma’Khia Bryant | Democracy Now!: In Ohio, a grand jury voted not to bring charges against a white police officer who shot and killed Ma’Khia Bryant, a 16-year-old Black girl, outside her foster home last year. Bryant’s family condemned the decision by the grand jury, saying the officer, Nicholas Reardon, did not need to resort to using his firearm, and also called out Ohio’s child welfare system for its failures in Ma’Khia’s case.
